Adams & Jefferson County Assembly Endorsements
County Assembly Endorsements
I am heading out of the country on a long overdue family vacation, but I wanted to share a few endorsements for those who have been asking for guidance. Because many affordability decisions are made across levels of government, the county assemblies happening this week in Jefferson and Adams Counties matter for Westminster families. Childcare costs, housing supply, grocery prices, utility bills, and transportation access are shaped by the leaders who advance through this process. That is why I am making these endorsements for assembly-participating statewide and county candidates who are serious about lowering the cost of living and expanding opportunity for working families:
Congressional District 7: Brittany Pettersen
Congressional District 8: Manny Rutinel
Secretary of State: Jessie Danielson
Attorney General: Jena Griswold
Adams County Commissioner: Emma Pinter
Adams County Commissioner: Tyler Quick
Jefferson County Clerk: Nicole Hensel
Jefferson County Assessor: Andy Kerr
Update on my Affordability Agenda
I promised to lower costs across childcare, housing, groceries, and utilities, and I’m choosing to do the uncommon thing in government by building this work in public via sharing updates as I test and advance each idea. Sometimes the answer will be no, but transparency about the tradeoffs is how trust is built. I also hope sharing this publicly may help inspire other electeds from municipalities across the state.
We held our Strategic Planning Workshop on February 28, 2026, and there are significant updates. My next email will give you a deep-dive into the amazing changes we are bringing to Westminster. Stay tuned!
