As you all know, Westminster’s economic security is my top priority. Our 2nd Annual Westminster Food Drive ends this coming Monday (more info below), but I want to introduce you to a new effort from the Westy Dog Park Guardians: a pet food drive.
I care about this, because one of the first and hardest decisions for someone in crisis is giving up their beloved pet, often their closest source of comfort. This Paws-giving Day Pet Food Drive helps keep families and their pets together by providing essential support.
Join us on TOMORROW at Westminster Hills Dog Park to donate and make a difference for animals and the people who love them.
Deadline is Monday for 2nd Annual Westminster Food Drive
Deadline to give is Monday (11/25) morning at 10AM!
Update: Our goal was to feed 1,000 people for Thanksgiving, but we are on pace to potentially have enough food to serve 5,000 or more. Our partner, Frontline Farming, has secured a HUGE order from their partner food banks for our drive, and the Westminster community is outpacing expectations with donations.
I’ll let you all know where the numbers end up.
Drop off food items in front of the garage at this address: 9596 West 89th Place, Westminster. Call or text me with any questions: 720-447-5606. We also have volunteers that can pick up your food.
