Westminster Drought Watch
We are leading by example in Westminster by voluntarily reducing water use across Westminster parks, facilities, and operations, and I am asking our community to join us.
Due to a historically dry winter and record low snowpack, Westminster will enact a voluntary Drought Watch beginning Wednesday, April 15 to protect Westminster’s water supply and avoid mandatory restrictions later.
This is the first step of our Westminster drought plan. While voluntary, we are asking Westminster residents and businesses to limit outdoor watering to 3 days per week and water only before 10AM or after 6PM.
How you can help:
- Limit watering to 3 days per week
- Water before 10 AM or after 6 PM
- Save money by checking for indoor leaks
- Stay informed about Westminster drought updates
- Register for Westminster conservation programs
