Why I Endorse Jack Johnson
🚨 Important Announcements
Thank you - We hit our fundraising goal: I am grateful to every single person who helped us build the momentum we need to protect Westminster and finish this campaign strong ahead of the election on November 4, 2025 (ballots arrive the weekend of October 10).
Our next chapter: for the month of October, my volunteers will be getting out the vote across all of Westminster. Also, today I launched a personal challenge:
Can I do it? Follow along my journey on social media and cheer me on!
Chamber Candidate Forum: yesterday the Westminster Chamber of Commerce hosted a city council candidate forum. Here is my statement regarding why I was unable to attend:
Why I endorse Jack Johnson for Westminster City Council
Ballots for the upcoming election drop in 9 days on October 10 and will be mailed to all active registered voters. All year, Westminster residents have been asking me whom I recommend they vote for. A total of 11 people are running: Mayor (vote for 1) and City Council (vote for 3).
I’m running at-large for re-election and it’s important that I have a team at the table who shares the same commitment to lowering costs, keeping neighborhoods safe, and building a stronger Westminster.
I don’t endorse based on party lines or political favors. I endorse people who put residents above party and politics, and who fight for real principles instead of chasing power for its own sake.
The only candidate for Council/Mayor I’ve endorsed in the 2025 election is Jack Johnson.
Here’s why: Jack is special.
Jack is a rare combination of fighter and builder: he collaborates out of principle, not cowardice, and speaks up in the rooms that matter to protect the people he serves. A sixth-generation Coloradan, he grew up with parents in healthcare who showed him that serving others is life’s highest calling.
As a lawyer, Jack dedicated his career to helping kids get equal education, ensuring veterans could shop with dignity, and fighting for the rights of people with disabilities across Colorado, including right here in Westminster.
For the past 3 years, Jack has put that same drive to work at the State Capitol, building bipartisan solutions for students, seniors, and working families. He knows how to write good policy and how to deliver results.
With your support, Jack can bring that experience and commitment to city hall and improve everyday life for the people of Westminster.
I encourage you to please support Jack. Donate to him here.
Vote early for Jack and myself when your ballots arrive the weekend of October 10. We will be placed #6 and #7 on your ballot.
