Mayor race in Westminster:
Lies are spreading: A couple of local politicians are spreading a lie that I have endorsed David Demott for Mayor of Westminster. Let me say this once, and kindly: this is not true. I wasn’t considering it, I haven’t done it, and I won’t be doing it.
The only Council members who’ve endorsed in the Mayor race are Sarah Nurmela (she endorses both David DeMott and Claire Carmelia) and Nancy McNally (she endorses David DeMott).
A question I get often: who is running for Mayor? So far, the candidates are Claire Carmelia (D), David DeMott (R), and Bruce Baker (R). More may jump in. The election is a non-partisan race, but many have asked about affiliations so I’m sharing for transparency.
Join us tonight 6/24: House District 29 will be at Frolic Brewing (12910 Zuni St, Westminster #1300).
A few weeks ago I shared my heart in the below message and you answered with love, encouragement and belief. There are a couple of new opponents about to launch against me. My birthday is on Saturday (June 28) and if you still believe in this work, please chip in whatever you can to help me get re-elected and defend the promise of America in Westminster.
Sheridan Green Elementary School: in May I attended the Sheridan Green Deconstruction & Park Expansion event. Deconstruction of the school began in June and will last 6-8 weeks, with the lot full of equipment, trailers and fencing. Park construction is anticipated to begin in late July or early August.
🚨🚨 Join us tonight 6/24: House District 29 will be hanging out at Frolic Brewing (12910 Zuni St, Westminster #1300) for a social event
